the national home for health equity

independent, nonpartisan, & built to last

Right now, health equity work is being asked to do more with less. Support rises and falls with leadership changes, federal funding cuts have dismantled key programs, and even the data we rely on is being restricted. The result is fragility: fragmented efforts, shrinking infrastructure, and communities paying the price.

The American Health Equity Association is the solution: the national home for health equity - independent, nonpartisan, and built to last.

Our mission is simple but ambitious: advancing a nation where health is equitable for all through collaborative leadership, trusted research, and bold advocacy.

We are unaffiliated with any single institution, designed to remain steady through political climates and funding cycles, and anchored in the community. We serve as a national hub that connects and strengthens fragmented efforts so progress is measurable and enduring.
